Luxury holidays at Ahuru Lodge in Ohakune include an array of dining experiences to suit your mood and appetite. Private or convivial, inside or outside, alongside a roaring fire, retreat to the river for a delicious picnic - the possibilities are many – you tell us how you prefer to dine.

As the day breaks – wake up to the delicious aroma of freshly brewed coffee, baked croissants and breads. Ahuru made jams and preserves are served with fresh organic vegetable juice followed by a hearty farm style cooked breakfast if you desire.

Lunch – is available at the Lodge or if you wish we will pack you a scrumptious picnic to take along on your days adventures.

As the sun goes down you may crave a romantic dinner for two, perhaps you are feeling convivial and decide to share a fishing story and a social meal with fellow guests. The choice is yours.

Pre dinner drinks and canapés are served every night at AHURU. Depending on the season it maybe al fresco down by the river, in front of the many roaring fires or on one of the decks taking in the stunning big sky sunsets.

Lynn’s cuisine and style are influenced by local flavours, produce and the changing seasons. The beauty, simplicity and taste of her food showcases the best New Zealand has to offer.

The extensive wine cellar at AHURU beckons you in to choose from varietals which harmonise and compliment seasonal flavours.
